    That is interesting though. We do run freight to canada and alaska so it could be useful info if i decide to go that route and get my passport

    blast from the past...the author of that article, Jim Park, was here where I live back in Y2K covering the truck rodeo we used to have. he did an article about it for Highway Star magazine called "Mud In The Blood" and featured my friend and I and some of our stories of moving rigs in northern Alberta. that article caught the eye of someone at a production company called Pixcom and they called us for an interview. we then met with these guys, discussed some ideas, long story short...the TV show License To Drill was born. it premiered on Discovery Channel in 2008 and went on to do 4 seasons. I was paid nothing lol.
