What if it Snows?

Usually is on the section of 90 just south of Buffalo to before the pa border. Last Tuesday my wife drove up with me for rehire orientation and went back that way and almost wrecked. Just missed the guard rail, was freaking out about what to do and telling me a semi behind was about to jack knife into her. Luckily it didn’t but she could hear other vehicles hitting it. Can’t believe I’m saying this was glad it was a white Vulva going to fast for conditions behind her. Then I front her the same. Kinda made a box to keep her and the rental safe. Sometimes better lucky than good.

The Ranger 60W is also my first 'out of the box' higher power radio, all previous have been worked over older style radios.

The co-ax and antenna setup is real important though - best to get that set up right regardless of the transmitter/reciever.

It has a built in swr meter. But I didn’t put dielectric where antenna screwed into the mount and wire. Oops

 

Yeah, I have a few numbers for customers where the receiver said, "Hey, call me next time this happens" or "Hey, if you get here the night before call this number and ask if they'll unload ya".

Some places I've never been, or don't go often.

Some customers have the same phone policy as we do.

Not much I can do about it. Their truck, their rules. I don't lose much sleep over it, but every so often I gotta beach about it......

 

Well my only shred of joy left in tge football season is that New England LOSES. That's it. All other enjoyment has been stripped away.

 

Basically you know what married life feels like. Lol
