Take it; bank it right off, keep on present but more conservative range. At some point in the future you will still not have had to draw on it.

Money is kind of a big deal, or not. I paid off my house and cars some years ago so it doesn't worry me.......money can be a big deal, or not.
What the big deal is thinking about what you're going to do with your time. Part time job at Walmart, or simply sitting on your arse out back. (I went with choice 'B').

I think your biggest hurdle is going to be loneliness. The Hazul has been a God send to me (mostly). You simply don't want to go it alone. That's one of the last things my dad told me, "don't go it alone".

Social security will hook you up for about $2500.....
But, get a new cat, or a dog.......or, heaven help, a human.
