Going is the easy part..stopping...now that's something...

 

I had to think back to my music DJing days, but I finally thought of that song, put with lyrics, of what you may be feeling with your obsession..

 

I've got safety chains and air... Good to roll... Lol

 

Blowing snow and maybe 2-3” of accumulation as I headed west out of Spokane at 0300. Total #### show. Trucks going 15-20mph. Cars with their hazards on going 15. A tanker yanker gets on in front of me. I love following tankers in tough conditions most of those guys are smooth operators. We run in tandem until I head south down the 395. Snow turns to rain and I boogie.

Tragedy struck when I hit black ice in Hermiston. I’m sure the other drivers enjoyed me landing on my ### as I walked across the parking lot. I couldn’t help but laugh.

I got to Pendleton and it was partly cloudy. Got to the top of Cabbage and it was freakin’ 50°. Hammer down driver. Temp remained between 39 and 42° all the way to Idaho. I’m parked for my 10. It’s 39°. Not even going to bother turning on the apu. Nice and quiet right now.

Started coming down here real serious like. Forecast here is for a couple of inches for both today and tomorrow. Hourly Forecast is about an eighth of an inch per hour till Saturday morning.
