What if it Snows?

Is it just me, or has everyone had it with this Christmas music..?
I mean it starts in September now, 31 days was plenty, why do we need 4 months of this music.
Or am I just not getting on the spirit of the season anymore..?

Learned something today.
Walking across truckstop parking lot. No, not glued to phone or any other device. About 8 to 10 feet in front of parked trucks. See truck heading in my direction, so I stop walking, look directly at the driver. Did I mention that I am wearing a bright day go safety yellow with reflective stripe jacket? This driver starts to my turn right, away from me. I start walking again. A moment later just outside my vision, I hear brakes. Seems driver has decided to cut back left, right at me. I stop as well. Now driver is yelling about me being in the way amongst other adjectives.

What did I learn? I now understand how someone can get run over in the parking lot. That a even drivers of big trucks are stupid.

I start to wonder when my former company will go under... at some point they had 52 trucks.. when I started with them, there were 35... then, dropped to 30... now a driver told me they have 25 trucks and 24 drivers... Mr. Maintenance retired.. so Mr. Director of dispatching and operations took over.. They have 2 dispatchers... one of them took over his place. But he is a former driver who schedules tight appointments, some in the middle of the night at awful locations, has a habit of sending driver far away a couple days before hometime... gets overweight loads and tells drivers it's ok to run with it.... the other dispatcher has been on vacation and doesn't do broker loads... not many loads.... on top of that, their new Peoplenet ELD is the worst thing I have ever seen... driver sent me video of how long it takes to just put himself on duty for pre trip and back....
I can see some more drivers quitting.... if it continues like that I wonder how they will afford their equipment and pay their drivers.... unfortunately... that used to be a great place...
