The main feature in any used equipment you have to sell is that no competitor has one just like it for comparison, price, teatures, delivery.
So he says: XYZ has one for ??? I say so go buy his, You are wasting both of our time and it might be gone. Aim him toward the door...
He says he would; but even cheaper, it does not have (48") forks. Ah, the selling point. He has closed the door on me moving a penny.
Strange, we put out the word to every maintenance man in our area that we would buy single forks. Never pair so they would steal but if one broke or bent, $50 for the mate when it hit our shop floor. Our 100 ton tire press could do wonders on a sprung one. And often, they had bought replacement. Ya make it where you can....

 

There are only an about a half dozen metric sized nuts and bolts 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19.
