What if it Snows?

Hello Mr.... !!

 

I am feeling much better.... really needed to "hide" in my cave like I did for almost 2 days.... I am not 100% good but almost...
The city of Cabo Frio must be packed beyond capacity with tourists... most Brazilians...
I went out yesterday... just around the corner for some coco nut water.. couldn't eat anything for almost two days..... but the coco nut water is the best medicine for what I had... I don't take any drugs or pain killers...
Lots of cars out there on the street... the gueto down there must be really busy selling their drugs and their music playing loud all day and night... I still don't feel like going out... I know what I will see.... LOTS and lots of people strolling around... drunk people, lots of music everywhere, live music, seashore will be packed... I have seen these things sooo many times in my life.. it's nothing new to me nowadays... and I feel really good in here right now...

70 degrees all week.....no need to sing. Yeah, it's all about me

 

I may go out tomorrow... walk on the beach... get my feet wet... and take some pictures and videos...
Tomorrow night all the beaches in this whole region will be packed with people and fireworks... this is how people celebrate New Year's Eve in Brasil... the bigger party will be in the city of Rio... with stages on Copacabana beach and free live shows... But I am not going there... not interested...
The only things that I find interesting on the beach on New Year's Eve is the macumba folks... doing their thing... for those who don't know, macumba is religion in Brasil with African roots that combines Christian and voodoo elements.. their followers dress in white mostly and practice rituals, with lots of drums, singing, dancing, smoking cigars, offering things to their deities, and some even sacrifice animals or birds, and their mediums receive spirits during these rituals and ceremonies.... During New Year's Eve we see a lot of them practicing their thing on the beaches, lightening candles, putting gifts and food on the sand as offerings and flowers, etc....













This would be the Copacabana beach on Reveillon = New Year's Eve celebration....

 

I dont think i have ever celebrated new years
