The dirt lot next to the Phillips 66 is where I should've parked.

I have never seen such disorganized parking at a truck stop. I have a mf'er parked 50ft behind me directly in the drive. He just randomly lined up with the other idiots.

Don’t go to Savannah Ga/Garden City port either.
Wow, I couldn’t get passed front gate.
You pull up to the gate arm, scan your twic card, youre not in THEIR system.
You gotta hold you card to a camera screen that doesn’t work.
Finally a security guard tells YOU, you’re holding the line, gotta gave twic.
You just hand it to her, she doesn’t see anything wrong, but you can’t continue.

You drove all night to make ur, because cutoff was 11, you’re at gate at 0945.
Finally they turn you around, I called in told to go to terminal.
I went to our terminal in Garden City, an hour later, me telling them about cutoff, they swap to another one of their trailers, signed my copy, I got free.

Some local guy took it there that afternoon, and it missed the ship, but it was there on time, noone there wanted it.

 

I feel like there is one of these "never happen in our lifetime ever again things", every year

So was heading to Reno for a quicky this morning looked at the weather nope f that staying home. I have jury duty tomorrow so might as well make it a 4 day weekend.

Took a 30 here in Portales, NM at my 1st stop. Well, more like a 5, because I spent the last 25min watching the forklift guy ans restrapping the rest of my load.

Off to Lubbock and then a reload in Shi..Sweetwater.

They“We’re just calling because you haven’t moved in 3 days, and that’s unlike your pattern, I see you have two loads booked starting tomorrow and running over the weekend, but we’re just checking to see if everything is alright. You show you’re in Little Rock, that right?”
Me“Nope, at home 92 miles from Little Rock.”
They“Ok, makes sense, good day..”
