I understand that your just starting with them. It seems that you have no way to plan out loads with them. I don’t know the system they use, but it sounds like they have no way to link/string loads together. That limits your ability to plan ahead.

    WesternPlains Thanks this.

Well i dont know all the agents yet. The agents have the loads but since i havent figure out who has freight in what area then its been random to start. Like i said there is guys that run the same area but it is impossible to have connections and relationships like that from the start. I am doing ok from where im at, just trying to putt all the pieces together

Rocks, dwells40, LoSt_AgAiN and 3 others Thank this.

Please understand that it is their system that I was saying was not efficient.

D.Tibbitt, Rocks and WesternPlains Thank this.

That happened to be today. Inefficiency at it’s best.
I got unloaded, called the broker as asked to do, to hear “I am at the doctors office you can call later.” To which I respond, “No, I don’t have time to call you back, when I think you might be outta the doctor. I am empty and leaving.”
    Hung up call completed.
Called on other load, that was a ‘maybe.’ Its still a maybe, but mightbe for someone else, because I don’t base my life on maybes, mights, and should be, let alone want to’s.
    You either do or dont.
So, after making several phone calls, being hung up one once before I said anything, I finally got to talj to someone who, “just got that one covered, but got you one going up as far in ND as you can possible go without being in canada.”
Oh wow! It had a high of 6 predicted today, so I am not going, trying to get over the flu not turn it into double pneumonia.

So I have a maybe, and a guy who actually said to me, “I am on my break, I’ll call back when its over in 30-45 minutrs, to which I responded, “Don’t bother, then I’ll be on MY break.”

So maybe we should actually do no work while on this break, and see how efficient everything goes.

Woke up to a lite dusting of snow this morning.

A ten minute cloud burst took care of most of it. Just down to a couple of snow dunes here and there.
