Florida is refusing to shut down some of theirs.

California is just screwed. Flee to the hills! Wait..don't do that...mudslides...flee to Tijuana! Donkey shows, tequila, hookers....No worries of cabin fever there.

I left London Ky, headed south, scales open, then closed as I approached, opened back up, just as I was passing the sign. Too late now, Lol. What a deal!!! Scale closed just for Me.Thinking I should buy a Lottery ticket. Made my day. Bought fuel in Ohio for $2.16. Fuel mileage was 5.93.Got my new flo thru mufflers on yesterday, passed everyone going up Jellico. ( only 18k in the box.) T shirt weather in Knoxville. Got $20 in my pocket. Life is good

 

Well... Some rookie just took my right mirror off... Well he tried awfully hard anyway. The tail swing of his trailer got him... Rocked the whole cab of my truck, folded the mirror and broke the shrouds that cover the mirror bracket... Minimal damage but created nearly 2 hours of phone calls and paper work... Luckily the glass in the mirror didnt break and no other body damage. He didnt even know he had hit me until I laid on the horn.

Seemed like a good kid, very nice, professional, and apologetic. Given the minimum damage and how he handled himself I couldn't jump his ###. I actually gave him some advise and pointers while he was on hold with his safety dept.

 

Today, I was informed that our building is closed for quarantine. It is unclear if any one has the virus, but they have set up testing for all employees. Management will not state if anyone reported valid symptoms or exposure. All operations are shut down, except for us drivers, pending results from all testing.

 

When you have that conversation, she is going to say it’s a recruiting tactic. Don’t believe it.

 

Or..."I was just being friendly."
