Only been through one at a plant in Canada does the whole under carriage and side to about mid windshield to keep trucks from spreading contamination from the plant

Grocery warehouse, get assigned a door. Trucks pulled out 3 ft. Parked in door. Went to the next door, It usually works fine. Not today, got woke up, by Dock Supervisor, blah blah, Driver went back to sleep, He’s moving now. Guy pulls out rolls away very slow,so not to activate his eld just as I had thought, the reason for him staying in the door. So much hair splitting oversight is rediculous. When things pick up, my first goal is to avoid grocery warehouses. Common sense has really disappeared.

It rolled through Slidell about 1100 pm. Wife’s been reminding me to be prepared, Lol. She’s getting pretty good at giving me heads up on weather. No more 500 mile away forecasts. Lol She said a Truck blew off a bridge in Jackson Ms. Luckily this round wasn’t as bad as last weeks. From the looks of the pines snapped in half up around Laurel, it was a rough one.

Years ago..at a truck stop, far far away..The old protho junction, there was 5 of us waiting for our loads from the same company.
All but one had shut our trucks down, it was about 79-75 outside, but one guy left his run. (Company driver)
He kept telling us how his truck was going to be, “Nice and cool when I go out to bed.”

One of the drivers slipped outside, pulled the hood over, and opened his water valves.
About 4-5 hours later, we all walked outside to call it a day to load the next, when the driver opened his door and you could feel the heat rolling out the door.

You shoulda heard some of the things that were said.
We all went to bed, he had to open the hood, shut the valves, and cool the truck down.

Another sunrise... And another 600 miles in the mirrors. Time for a few mins of relaxing then some bunk time.
