Ya know how sometimes it can really suck that you are the driver that can be counted on to "go the extra mile" to get the job done?... Like when you are asked to bust your ### to do the impossible?

Well this week is not one of those weeks... I just picked up an extra 200 EASY miles. Due to covid one of our drop & hook shippers was shut down for a few months, so we stole a few trailers from there to use elsewhere. Well, one of those extra trailers is at the reciever for the load I'm currently under. When I drop this loaded trailer I get to shuttle that empty trailer the 100 miles back to the shipper we stole it from, then return to my reciever to get another trailer to take to the same shipper as the first, where I will then pickup a preloaded trailer for my back haul.

Since I deliver on Sunday afternoon and my backhaul wont be ready until Monday afternoon it will work out perfect so that I'm not sitting around with my thumb up my backside.

Dispatchers exact words: " I just needed to talk to someone that would understand exactly what I was talking about. I knew I could count on you."

 

I admin a FB barter swap group. A fellow posted an (iso) in search of ad for chest freezers with a pic of a tongue and the words of "I love womens vag---". Good lord some gal went off the deep end on the comment saying it was a sexual post. Alas the womans complaint was more sexually offensive. Tho the fellow with the shirt got more offers to buy the shirt.

So what would happen if the person planning the event did a rainbow thing.

 

I thought all truckers were mentally challenged and tarp monkeys just had Popeye forearms. Door slammers just have mangled fingers from getting them caught all the time. lol
