Hmm I’m not sure if this is relevant to what happened to you, but twice so far I’ve pressed on the accelerator and my truck didn’t respond and I have no idea why; I wasn’t going uphill either, just driving down backroads the other day

Ohh no, those are rice cooker pots!

You don't want to use them on the stovetop, they get too hot too easily and coax the Teflon coating into spewing out stuff you don't want to be eating.

Rice cookers use a magnet to turn off the power when the magnet gets hot. Magnets loose thier magnatism at a certain temperature so it works out ok to use thin aluminum pots in them as they don't get that hot.

Now we know Rocks needs some new pots and a Tortilla press for Christmas...

Hmm I’ll have to make a note of the speed next time, but I’m pretty sure one time I was doing about 45 and my truck is governed at 62 on the pedal.

Well I mean, hopefully there’s not a next time

That reminds me of a couple jokes..

A blonde is watching the news with her husband when the newscaster says, "Six Brazilian men die in a skydiving accident." The blonde starts crying to her husband, sobbing, "That's horrible!" Confused, he replies, "Yes Dear, it is sad, but they were skydiving, and there is always that risk involved." After a few minutes, the blonde, still sobbing, says, "How many is a Brazilian?"

Three blondes walk into a building.
You'd think one of them would've seen it.....

    Is it now?

I got in trouble again for being innocent.
My sister, who is mid 40s, decided she’d mow the lawn to help out.
So I was spraying weed killer around the house, and old swing outside when I notice she was full steam ahead with a cub cadet zero turn and approaching the peach tree.
I just figured she’d zip around like I would have, but no, tree limb hits chest, she does backflip off the mower, with high back seat, to land on the ground.
Luckily, the mower dies when no one in seat and brake not set.
So I go over and being me, say, “I don’t remember having a Swift sign on the mower.”

So, my humor was not appreciated.
