lol like my username says. I'm in FL but heading to OK soon. FFE has a school in lancaster, tx. So I'd need a good starter that also has their own school.

Me “I didn’t leave anything in Kansas, I made sure before I left last time.”

They think, they’ll have something coming back with 25-199 miles from my house.

Me “I sure hope so, that’s a lot of places to unload in that range. I don’t do back haul rates, especially loading at a different place, going to a different place.”

Oh btw, it loads this afternoon, and get it there as fast as you can?

Me “Man, I’ve already been there and back.”

“What?”

me “No sense of humor, eh?”

So.

It seems I’m going to Kansas tonight.



Guess I need to get my chemical suit, gloves, rubber boots, hard hat with face shield out of the closet.
I just wonder if I tape the face mask to the face shield...does that count?

 

I hear Schneider has a school in Dallas..

 

Yeah.....actually they moved from over by the J to new digs off of 45 in Wilmer.......not far from Loves

 

If I had the choice I would go with schneider

 

Schneider is like the chick you never really wanted to go out with in High School, but a buddy set you up, and you ended up having a pretty good time.
They have their flaws, but they're pretty ok to work for.
Been with them almost 8 years and have no regrets. But the first 6 months can be tough.

 

It wasn’t bad, Tanker division had a TON of ... Mickey Mouse rules, van didn’t have.
Tanker. Clean Shave, every day.
Van. Can have a beard to your ankles.
Tanker. Wake up, stand by your hood mirror, shave.
Van. Wake up, go to work.

Tanker. Winter training, “You haven’t shaved this morning!! Go shave before you come back to MY class!!”

Thats why I didn’t tell the jerk I was loaded when he had to ride with me, and my winter training was Savannah GA.

I scared the trainer.. he went home and didn’t do anymore ride alongs that day..

 

How's starting pay and miles?
