Well I am having an Oh Crumb moment with the tractor. I just realized the fan belt from the alternator to the pulley will be in the way of one of the mounting bolts. Maybe a idler pulley to move the belt more vertical. Bolt the pulley to the two 5/16" bolts (hidden by the belt) that hold the power steering in place?

I cant move the alternator in too much as the power steering hoses will be interfeerredd. Too bad I cant get a double shiv pulley on the water pump.

So.. I don’t know if I was the victim of a prank, or someone was just testing me.

I went to the dreaded wal*mart, with my mask on, incognito, and while getting my few items for my next weeks great adventure, in the back of the store, I hear some woman say, “There’s your daddy.” So, I’m not paying any attention because I’m there alone.
Next thing I know, 3 kids are grabbing me by the legs yelling, “Daddy!!Daddy!”

I’m getting these kids unwrapped from me saying, “Wtf, get off me, I’m not your father.”
They’re still jumping up and down yelling “Daddy!”

So now, I get accused of being a racist, because I’m denying the kids?

So, I just really don’t care, I’ve just got finished working on my truck again in the heat, hating peterbilt for putting batteries under the driver side step, hitting my head on the latch several times, soaking wet with sweat, and looking like a mechanic on a bad day.

So, finally I tell the woman to come get her kids, and meanwhile this employee, comes up wanting to know “What’s going on here.”
I’m still masked up, and trying to explain, and now this woman is crying, saying something through her sobs that I’m not helping her and her kids.
So now I’m looking like some deadbeat jerk, and it’s a springer episode starting.

I finally tell them to get away from me, I don’t know her or her kids.
They’re treating me totally unkind acting like I am abandoning a family in the store.

They didn’t get anything from me, so I don’t know wtf was going on...

Am I in the wrong by denying a family I don’t know..
I mean, just think, what would the wife say coming home with 3 kids and some woman.

I don’t need that kinda drama.. I am just wondering if this is some new scam I have not heard about?

 

So i think the power switch may be going bad on the apu. Opened the front door on the apu cover and hit the switch and it jiggled in my hand. Upon touching the wires one of the connectors was loose and so i pushed it back in . Was throwing an alt code. Been running about 20 mins and its still working good so far

 

That is why i stay away from people, always trying to pass their bs on to you
