No matter what. When the Director said: Cut! That's a take!.... He went to his overpriced, oversized, luxury home. In his overpriced car. ... Because people are addicted to watching what isn't real.

I like user friendly when it's someone else who uses it. For me, I don't mind learning something, I just always found Nortons and Macafee to be more a pain than they were worth. Stuff I use today is stuff I get from friends who still do programming, etc. Not user friendly but not a pain in the ### either. I think it was also the time period where they were going through a lot of growing pains if you will. It's been at lest a decade since I've used either. Sounds like they may have changed things up.

I know others who use both or one or the other. They have more patience then I do when it comes to those two. I have no problems with folks who do use them, just not for me. ;)

That is how a I felt with 99% of the people who I had to help. LOL. There is a reason when you call your ISP for internet trouble and the first thing they ask you to do is check the cord, and lights. Heh.

I don't get into the whole mac vs pc thing. One is better at some stuff than the other, vice versa. Same with Xbox vs PS. I can fix a PC so I don't worry about that stuff. Same with software. If I can't fix it I know somebody who can, or will teach me how. I have no issues with Macs. They just didn't support a lot of the software, games, etc I used when I was younger. Nowadays you can just partition a hard drive an have multiple O/S's.

I always say go with whats best for you. Computers are like clothes, it's not a one size fits all world. Go with what fits your needs. It's what I've told people who ask for help in buying a computer.

I don't watch a lot of TV. I have them mainly for the wife and the few things I do watch. I like my old sitcoms, and a few other shows I enjoy. Most of them are older. The services I have are also for the wife, she watches far more than me. An even with all those I use, it's still cheaper than a month of regular cable for me.

I'm not one of those people that is like.."If I don't get to watch my show, deaths will occur!". If I miss it I miss it, I can always watch it another time.

    Be safe!

Sirscrapntruckalot - history would be great if it wasn't so old.

Forgot to add to last post...

Won't be around for a day or so, just a heads up.

Despite hurricane being down graded, we lose power easy, so I'll be off the grid.

Til then, be safe, insanity will return when I do.

On Computers... Apple actually works. ms has always depended on me to make it work. I don't work for them. They work for me.

I worked for Dish Network at one time. It was awful. Don't get Dish or Direct unless there is no other option. If you do... Get only single receivers. Anyone who installs/repairs will tell you they would only have a single receiver themselves. Many TV's? Put a single on each one. They work the best. Hands down. And their software is their biggest problem. When Denver will scream that it's the install. It's always the install! BS!
Anyways.... I ran into people who were lost in their TV. They'd have a nervous breakdown without it.
Had an African Grey Parrot who loved the boom channel. He had to have the Boom Channel on all the time. He'd throw a fit, 24 hours a day if not.

    LoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
