    The countdown begins !! That is like the last wintery interstate that i have yet to accomplish. Never really been to colorado. Only cutting thru cortez... heard its expensive if u dont have chains

    Was only in the low 80s here today. But it tained 2 " this morning so the humidity has been around 90% all day. Was a good day to not do much of anything.

    Colorado has it where you have to carry chains from Sept 1 until May 31, but only if you are on I 70 between mile 133 to the 259. In the rest of the state, if you need them and don't have them, or don't put them on, and you wreck, you will pay through the nose. I was doing a dedicated from DFW to Golden for awhile and never carried any.
