    agreed.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

I believe the first year had to be all about the truck. No plan to go home. Just be with the truck.

    Ok.

I was asked a serious question earlier and I though the response was necessary to be shared.
    Here we go.

“Why, when you go to stand up, both of your knees pop like a gun going off, and you hold your back and limp for the first 20-25 steps?”

    My response.
“19.5 years, over 2 million miles on a body takes a toll, but remember, 20 years from now, you’d give $1000 just to feel as good as you do today.”

Man, ain't that the truth about wind!

I learned this when out in KS and living here on the sandbar, and even in Tucson. Wind is rough if there is nothing to break it. Exception being Chicago..that wind is just straight evil during winter time. Here on the sandbar tourists are like.."oh it's only 30mph, I'll go for a walk!" they come back all ragged and tired. Big difference walking on a beach with no buildings above 2 stories, vs walking your nice tree lined and apartment building lined walks.

You can also feel it when driving, whether a big rig or 4 wheeler in those places.

Kansas was just flat, and nothing there. No trees, no buildings. Just flat. Thunderstorms and wind there were lots of "fun".

While he's my adopted twin, I can confirm he WAS dropped multiple times on his head. Plus...he lives in Florida, do you really need to ask? ;)

    It sure does.

With wind my biggest fear is those areas right after a good obstruction like a butte. You get adjusted to wind, then suddenly there's no wind, and then you get hit with it again.

Replaced both DPF and SCR unit at 400k. Dealer had best price for exchange. Total bill was about $2300. Better and than having to do the One box at like $12k.

Can I make it up to you by telling you, I'm really an ex-navy seal, who did six tours in WW2, and is personal friends with several porn stars and that the US Marshals are on stand by if someone honks at me or my soda isn't the right temperature?

I also have all 50 states DPS officers on standby so I can have them ticket shippers for overloading me.
