    Bet.
I come see you, or you come see me.
3 months from the dicktate and one year from the implementation.

It other words, if Landstar in 3 months or less doesn't start breaking your balls, (your call), then I have to go to Phoenix.
But if they do what I say they will, within 3 months, you have 12 months to get here... and act like you like it.

Ok. But you don't have to do all that if you simply want to move to Phoenix.

Landstar did not care when I was running. Had an 04 with them till last year.

Snag would be some shippers have age limits for trailers. I found that the loads with age limits tended to be heavy and low paying.......
I used to carry 6 load bars, 2 load locks and tried to keep about 40 ratchet straps on the truck. Load bars got used as a bulkhead mostly, sometimes carried the carpet for trade show booths above the rust of the stuff, And once to get the last air-skid on for the folks up at JBLM.

Load bars are a royal pain. I carried 6 because that is what would fit under the bunk on the 387. Not sure if they fit under Cascadia bunks.

I focused on a different freight market than Dave. Between trade show loads and Hazmat Totes I could use way too many. Actually got a couple of really good loads that required 2 straps per 19inch racks per the customer. Evidently they shipped the computer control systems for some substations on another carrier and had to remake them after they took a tumble in the truck. One of the loads was 26 pieces of equipment.......

You should think of investing in a moose guard.
You’ve ran over more animals in this past year, than I have in right at 20. 1 deer that charged straight at me, 1 owl that scared the heck outta me at around midnight that dived outta know where and hit the top of my sleeper on the condo.
    Several birds.

Here.. I’d say the last one with your luck.

I'm at home on vacation this week.

    I haven't done a #### thing.

    I'm lovin' it.

I took that written test for the mechanic job last week. Some crappy reprint from Commercial Carrier Journal. About half the questions were about gasoline engines and distributor ignition. I haven't messed with that stuff in years.

So they tell me I'm the only candidate who has made it this far in the process, so they're going to "slow down" a little......

Translation: "We're waiting for someone younger than you with less experience to apply, so we can get them for less than we have to pay you."

    Whatever.....

I think I have 7 total load bars.

    I've bought 2. Found the other 5.

There were 2 laying in the weeds at TA in Connecticut, and I had no where to put them.

All mine are in the yard in Phoenix.

I should also mention that most of my straps were the 16 footers. Had 12 foot straps be just too short a couple of times.

Also tried to keep 20 foot straps (more than 6) on the truck for the times a 16 was just not enough..... Think 50 inch x 100 inch (4x8 foot plus some outside skins) foot print crate strapped to the side wall of the trailer.

... I wonder if we all get on one side and push.. if we can flip your trailer back into its wheels without flipping it on over.. :p
