Sorry I don’t get out much......

 

Usually only 2 straps required. Half the time, they don’t really need them. Optional. I carry at least 6 just for the rare load. Convention loads, often require a lot. I must have about a dozen, left on the trailer from the last convention load. Jackpot!!

 

I found a bunch of load locks at LS.
I bought two good ones that close up and don’t take up much room, and found 8 or 10, I kept 4 on the rack on back of sleeper and my two, gave the others away at Dallas yard to new guys that were starting and didn’t have any equipment.

At last count it was 20 straps w/ratchets and two snug type straps someone left in the trailer.
All are put up in my camper right now while pulling this hopper

 

There has been a significant amount of Whining from owner ops complaining about brokers taking too much of a cut.

To me it's either haul for their rate, negotiate a better rate, or look for another load, but mostly shut up if you do not know how to run your business.

 

Secondary piece to that is the many brokers in the chain Whine. Gustov gets the load as the shipping broker and has Vlad fill it as the carrier broker.
