I know the feeling... Was privileged to pick up a 3 way hookup drive out at Fugate and Girton at the IH Ft. Wayne factory in late 55. 3 just alike. V8, V195's with 8 speed RR and 22 inch rubber. Deluxe car for the day. Pulled in yard and boss asked how I liked it. Told him fine, we should replace the fleet with them.
He said that is good, as that on is yours. Drove it until sometime in 57. Company then decided to standardize fleet on R190 IH's. 450 6 cyl engines, 5 direct with 2 speeds, gov at 2750. About 58 MPH.
I told him when mine come in, to write my check. I could run and sleep 4 hours out of 24 and still make money at a nickel a mile with my tractor. Well, common units, maintenance, and common parts, was the
way to go. Still hooked me. Sent me up to Ft Wayne to pick up another 3 way hook up. Yep, 3 R195's.
Made it from Ft Wayne to the 1st shady overpass at Ft Knox, KY. Broke out my governor alteration kit
and loosened it up a bit. 2500 to rec 2750. tooled on toward home and reset it in Jackson TN.
Next day drew my final check and went to Beneke Corp in Columbus, MS. All Mack (B61 an H63's).

Now they’re trying to sale another one.
Not me, I’ve paid 72 month note off in like 62-63 months.
Months sound better than looking at it and saying, “Well, there goes 7 years of my life.”

Guy I know from fire department shared these via FB,
this hill is clearly marked at the top at 25 mph, you can make it at that, but I’d say less than 20, because of the sharp curve.
Most new people in trucks don’t realize, those signs are for cars.
Guy had on a truckload of 50lb sacks of flour, might have been for the ideal bread place at the bottom about 1-1 1/2 mile from there.
