Found rider.
Loaded and left, lights on, no siren...
Pickup guy wants to drive home 2-3 miles on two flats, 2 busted rims, busted windshield, no left mirror anymore.

 

So we had a good honest truckers moment this morning....driving down this little 2 lane farm area headed to my delivery about 0730.. There was houses to the left and right, and on the right side of the road there was a young kid and his brother and their mom outside waiting for the bus .

maybe they were 8 or 9 years old.... Well out of the corner of my eye i see the one kid doing the arm pump telling me to honk!!

So i blow the horn and his face lights up with a big smile, then he looked back at mom with a guilty look and a beet red face lol ! Best part was mom had her back turned towards the road and had no idea what was about to happen, she about jumped out of her skin when she heard blue bird sing the tune ! Lmao !

Man that one gave me a good laugh . think i had a bigger smile than that kid. Made me think "thats what trucking is all about".

 

My boss is just plain too smart for his own good.
Here I get a suggestion from a truck stop I like to buy fuel at. Said to get "Mud Flap" for buying fuel. Got O/O's buying there saving 25 to 30 cents a gallon. That's after their price of $1.99 a gallon.
So I suggest it to my boss in text.
His reply: That's just an app.

Got this today, going to try to get the graphics off my Truck. Big eraser, used with a drill motor. If used right, doesn’t damage paint.

 

I don’t trust people wearing a tie.

 

. Those work great with a cordless drill motor just keep it slow to avoid heat.

 

Oh, he's a big ole cuddly boy.

Although he did growl at the veterinarian earlier when he got a stool sample. But can you blame him?
