When she said she would call my boss I would have picked up my phone and said...

"Ok, he is literally waiting, phone in hand, for your call."

Would love to have seen the look on her face then.

 

I saw the funniest sign in here too.

“Drivers do not back up on our property for any reason.”

I asked, “How do you bump the dock?”

Her.
“You back up to it carefully.”

Me “ I refuse to break the laws of the land.
We need a new system, I’m going to my truck.”

 

I remember a few places I got 86. Just sayn.

Some other hopper bottom extraordinaire operator just walked up and knocked on my door.

“Am I in the right place?”

Me. “They always said boy, I say boy you need to change your ways or you’ll go to hell.”

Guy “Um. Where do I check in at?”

Me. “The last building on the lhs..
Oh! And don’t tell them you had on corn last.”

guy “I did have on corn last.”

Me “So, lie and tell them brown rice, or you’ll be here all day.”

So. He gets checked in and thanks me and asks if I need some blank washout sheets, I tell him no, I have a few left, but thanks.

 

Good Morning everyone. I’m out of creeper gear, getting wound up, working towards the high side. One more cup of coffee, ought to do it. Just broke 50 degrees, sunny, just a beautiful day. High of 56, but next 6 days, closer to 70. Got to savor it. 3 weeks, it will be snowing till April. Puts a damper on everything. Time to get out of Dodge.

 

I think this goes back to the "Me cattleman, You sheep man" contest of long ago,
Also the sheep are supposed to graze the grass down so low it is hard for it to survive
in drouths. Cow can't nibble that close. LOL...and every buyer of a cow in the auction
ring wants you to catch her and show him her teeth.

I just realized I’m living a lie I’m not in Dodge heaven it’s Ram heaven. This thing doesn’t have a Dodge emblem on it anywhere. I need some mopar guys to chime in. When did they become ashamed of the Dodge nameplate?
