Got my air lines today. 6 for $60. Cant beat that. Truck and Trailer will have all new ones. New hood bushings. Wife and I made our rounds to stores. Got 5 pair of reading glasses at Dollar Tree. Tired of looking for that one pair. In other words, didn’t get anything done today. Lol. But I enjoyed not doing it.

Had this happen to me on a two lane in Ga. If I took the ditch I would have rolled and he would of just kept going. So I put my right steer as far on the shoulder as I could and hoped for the best. He bounced off my drives taking out both outside tires and rims then took out both outside trailer tires and rims. To this day I still thank God he didn't go under my trailer. I still remember walking back to his crumpled car. Everything was in slow motion. Still haunts me. Dude walked away and refused medical help. Told the cops he was diabetic and passed out. I still think he was on his phone.

    Yeah.
I don’t want to load up though, I know I’d eat it and wouldn’t make it very far after eating good.

Only way possible I see this run happening in the timeframe is run tonight.
But I started my day at 0500.
Ran only 460 miles today, but been waiting since 1515-1530.

If I get out of here at 2100, I could make it there by 0130ish.

    But throw another 260 miles.
You can run 700+ miles in a day and it’s not bad if you can run, stop/fuel then break, then stay with it.
I just hate everyone thinking you should work day/night.

Some genius changed the unload appointment anyway, my current load was supposed to drop tomorrow morning, then the other tomorrow evening.
Would’ve been doable, but I know my limitations on when I’m tired, but as I get older, I don’t like putting that kind of stress on me anymore, I’ve wised up and realized no one appreciates it and you’re just hurting yourself.

I may just say F it and stay here tonight, depending on my mood when I leave, but as long as I Drop it tomorrow it’ll go on this weeks pay putting me at 4956 Gross.

It’s only another 505 miles, right?
Looks like I may be the one to “Drop the Ball.” this time.

LS and Dave approved my trainee. He’s got a bit of an attitude problem. He was starting a ruckus on the CB and at the fuel island. He’s not riding for free...it’s costing my money. Dang it I’m a bad negotiator.

    LOL.

Nothing better than having my son onboard. He’s a tough little guy. If I’m up he thinks he needs to be up. The only downside is he started a score sheet to track how often it pee. I let him know in 40 years it won’t be nearly as funny when it’s him. Hahahahaa.

My wife is thrilled to not have him at home for 10 days. She’s down in San Diego having a great time with friends.

    Happy trails, Otter.
One of you ain't gonna make it back.
But up until then, it should be awesome.

    Reminds me of my dad.
Have fun. He'll remember it forever.

Nice hat, ready to do all the fueling, check oil, kick tires,, clean the windows, mirrors. Crank the dollies. And learn how to shift, back up. Hold the wheel while...... never mind.
