I've got another friend that had much the same thing happen to him, except the driver of the 4 wheeler fell asleep. he had on a super b load of lumber, 140,000 lb gross. guy came into his lane and same deal, knocked out his front axle. he went in and put it on her side tho, ended up losing his shoe. they found it under the mass of 2X4's strewn down the ditch, he wasn't wearing a seat belt, when the truck flopped onto it's side he stepped on the passenger side window as it was sliding in the ditch. window broke, slurped his shoe off, and never left a scratch on him. he was back to work the next week.

You never know how something will affect you. It’s easy to say this or that. I had a wreck 12 yrs ago. First, and hopefully the last. Nothing too bad, but considered a major, because my Truck had to be Towed. It barely qualified to be Totaled out. Could have been easily fixed.I did get a ticket. I was a nervous wreck for about a year. Not worried about getting hurt. But worried about the fallout of another Wreck on my Career. It seemed like everyone around Me was constantly trying to cause an accident. That’s why these days, more than ever, I try my best to stay away from everyone else. Let them go, get tangled up, and stay out of it. I can only imagine the effect of something so unexpected could have.

    Ok.

Let the record show, the Judge has not dropped the ball, but threw it on top of the roof.
2130, just got empty, it’d be like 0130-0145 and I don’t know of parking within 100 miles, some mights, but you know how big a mite is.

I’ll start this over at 0400, if that’s not good enough, the Judge says :biggrin_25518::biggrin_25518:

Get my reading glasses at Home Depot. 2 pair is like 8 bucks. Why HD? These seem to be much sturdier than others I have found.

After 10 yrs of Local Driving, I went OTR. The first trip, was the Blizzard of 96. 38” of snow, through Pa. Wrecks everywhere. Second trip, Car came at Me, going the wrong way. I called my Dad, asked if that was common. He says, No, you just got off to a bad start. Then it happens again, middle of the night, downtown Chicago. At that point nothing surprised Me, I didn’t even slow down, just let them passed me by. In 24 yrs since, it hasn’t happened again. Just a freak thing.
