They want to forget.

 

A magazine named Live Steam did a article on the Sultana in the 1980's. I feel like I should say, yup I remember it...... lol

 

The live steam article put the blame on the fireman. Seems he didnt like the sound of the steam escaping from the safety. So he tied the safety that was a ball and pluunger design. The boiiler was rated for 150 psi. It was realized that the fireman had let the boilers get to 600 psi when they blew.
