    omnitracs? Can the agent get a gps location? I had a useless conversation with dispatch at a previous job and tried to explain that she was 2 keystrokes away from the information that she wanted instead of waiting for me to answer a text.

    If your using it to send info of your time available, then it isnt private. If it has bluetooth turned on, it isnt private. If it uses wifi it isnt private.
    Any of those three things means it can be hacked and used/abused with out your consent.

    Bluetooth is alittle harder to hack than Wi-fi.
    By capturing at least two packets. The bits in the encrypted stream and the checksum can be modified by the attacker so that the packet is accepted by the authentication system. This leads to unauthorized access to the network. I read it on the Net....;)

    The problem with all three of what I posted above? His device is listening for something to talk to it. If he can recieve data, it can be sent as well. It is the downside of todays information age.

    So true. Receiving sent/transmitted data is not illegal. The airways are still free. It's what you do with it.
