So.
Made it to Ozora.. guy in red Volvo almost hit a JB truck, this place holds 75+ trucks, maybe 10 here..
So Volvo guy gets out, Slams door, rocking the truck, gets his side box open for his prayer rug, slams that door as hard as possible.
I couldn’t help myself.. I turned up the radio so he prayed to the song....
Yes...it’s 80s weekend on St. Louis rock station...
So while he finished prayers to 99 red balloons, he put away his prayer blanket and items and slammed the side box, got in truck slammed the door again.
Then got back out of truck, slammed door again, and went inside.
It’s bad that I’m like 4-5 spots down, radio on and I can hear the door slam, and it rocks the truck sounding like a reverberation.
I just wished they’d have played a better song for him to pray too..

So did they play the American version or the original German version?
I am kinda biased toward this one as being better for the situation, But finding a radio station with the testicular fortitude to play it would be a challenge...

My little heater both past and present both have had knobs on top. The previous unit was a metal case. This new unit has a plastic case. Neither one has ever had ANY melting issues. I run the heaters on the #2 heat setting. The first one I had for 24 years. This one with the plastic case (wife bought it) has run for 7 years. They both sit on a medium pile rug. The plastic heater the heating element is closer to the carpet. Neither one has been able to get the plastic carpet to start to melt. Even the plastic heater case hasnt had any melt issues.
Maybe you had a modified heater? Or you were running it on high. I dont know and I dont care. I have even run these heaters over night while I am sleeping. I am heating a room that is 12'wide by 15' long with 8 foot ceiling. Only two walls are exposed to the outside elements. One wall goes to the unheated basement (about 40F in winter, 50f in summer), the other wall has 2 sliding closet doors that have a slight warp to them. That wall also has a large opening near the floor for the pudgy cats to wallow through. The point of the last description is that the room isnt airtight like a truck would be. The truck interior would be half the volume of the office/bedroom that I am heating. It is 42 f outside currently. The house is about 60F (what we set the thermostat at). Yet this room easily bakes right now if I leave it running all the time. (95F if I wanted, yes I did test it).
So good luck in casting doubt. Yet at 60 years of age I have learned a thing or two.LoSt_AgAiN, Dale thompson, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
