    You know those videos truck after truck slides into each other in wyoming. What can you do about that. Except sit. Sometimes I want to run out west but not in winter. Hmm turn the CB up.

    And that's not in that notorious section over Elk. As far as trucks wrecking, Wyoming is getting worse every winter. Too many "Hammer Down" drivers running too close together. I wouldn't be surprised if they just started closing the road when it snows. Or maybe start having the state troopers escort traffic through in groups at reduced speeds like I've seen done going over Donner. The state DOT says they just don't have the budget to keep cleaning up these wrecks.

    I don't think the auto trannys are causing these pile ups where they are running too close to each other at speeds too fast for conditions. As far as elogs, who knows.

    I guess my point is drivers far below the skill set of drivers of say 10, let alone 20 years ago being put in trucks.
