    Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :)

And those of you who did make it home, when you say grace before supper please take a moment to remember those who couldn't.

Who knows, cartoons were originally for adults, they played before a movie, adults thought they were stupid, then the kids liked them, now I don’t know.

Was supposed to have a load tomorrow with 260 miles out, then 115 DH to next load that brought me back 28 miles from home loading and being back late Friday night.
Now, the load out loads tomorrow, but they don’t want it until Sunday around noon.
So, I balked, told them I no longer wanted it, I wouldn’t have a reload and be sitting
260 miles from home waiting for a possible reload on Monday.

So now we see the advantages of driving your truck, you buy your job, company truck would just have to go.

    Now go get stuffed!

We arent cooking a turkey this year. The local veterans hall is cooking a free thanxgiving meal. Offered a donation and they refused. They just need to know how many and druve up to get your plate.

I thankfully was able to snatch up two 6-lb turkey breasts the night before last, and one of those is thawing as we speak.

Not going to be home but the Bride is with and we will be shutting down in Idaho Falls around 15:00 and she is already prepping the meal as I drive. So I am luckier than most that are driving today. So yes blessing are counted and best thoughts and wishes sent to those that are away from loved ones today

My wife makes an excellent turkey. Even better than my famous Aunt Madeleines. White meat is never dry. The last two times, She cooked them upside down, It sounds crazy, but really makes it extra moist. You have to try it. I think you flip it, just to brown the top. Really makes for good Turkey.
