Was that a local tradition where you were from.

KFAT in Gilroy which hopped the mountain to become KPIG in Watsonville has a tradition of playing that every turkey day. Sometimes a couple or 3 different versions.

Makes it easier for the station crew to eat a big ol plate uninterrupted.

 

They used to play it here, or the movie.
Usually a good long song when the DJ is gone he’d play either Rush-2112 in its entire 20ish minutes, or Iron Butterfly-inagodadavida in its long version.

 

Thus is the only way to go for serious splitting demands...

Looks like House if Turkey is closed. Good thing I got the 3 turkey wings and 1 drumstick yesterday. Sandwiches it is. Cracker Barrel usually has a Turkey plate special. Had that 1 yr. they’re open late. After passing on the Petro, and missing another Buffett. Only one choice, Turkey plate, no ordering from the menu. It wasn’t bad, good price, small portions. Almost need 3 dinners for 2 people. Hope everyone’s having a good holiday, wherever you are, alone or with family.

 

We have BBQ up and warming hoping the turkey will turn out good. First time trying it on the road, should be interesting. Wife already invited the driver parked in this hiding place to join us

KFOG, back in the better days always had the T-Day program. Alice’s Restaurant was a staple.
