That don't look like the 63 I used to run out of Springfield back to Cabool and in to Marion/Memphis coming
down for Florida. Too many lanes....

They’ve added several passing lanes, even after Cabool on up to Rolla.
Then there’s a couple N of rolla

 

Honesty and walk on by are both good policy's. Neat turn of the phrase there.

 

Reminds me of ole US 11 up thru VA. .3 lanes largely. Up side , 2 lanes... Down side one lane... Between ups and down, no man land. Gathered your guts, peeked out, wound, went and prayed.

 

Did you do it over the fire in the fireplace, like the olden days? Did it have cuisses de grenouilles in it?

 

You didnt offer her a rag and tell her to clean your wheels to earn the money? Grin.

Well I got out to the tractor today. Thinking that I might try to start it.
At least that was the idea. I went to attach the fuel line and discovered that I had mangled the metal fuel line when installing the gas tank. I got looking at the fuel shut off and thought I had a spare on a shelf. What do ya know, it even has the same size of pipe thread. Now I just need a 1/8"NPT to 1/4" male fuel barb and I should be able to fuel the tractor. Who knows. I might even try to spin the engine over?

Yeah I didnt like that I couldnt drain any water from the fuel with the (black) previous valve.

 

Oh and its a balmy 15F outside. Darn you @Opus (Dave said I should blame you)
