    My company Western Star 4900 I ran our company built them as gliders with dual 100s.

    They tilted the tanks about 10 degrees so you could open the filler cap up.

    1st half of tank on gauge would take for ever to burn.

    Bottom half on the gauge would flow like it had a hole in it.

    Bottom 1/4 was basically empty.

    After having it run out while idling at the pumps I ran it nearly dry in our yard and dipped it with a yardstick and recorded inches to 1/4 1/2 3/4 full.

    Good peace of mind.

    Where you headed... It looks to me that the entire northern half of the country is getting or has recently had some pretty decent storms. I'm looking down the barrel of a week of bad roads. Currently loading in Idaho then headed to Michigan and back again after reloading (probably will be reloading in Michigan or Indiana, maybe Illinois)

    80 in WY is looking kinda nasty... Not closed but has been very windy and slick with recent storms. So I will be taking US26 over Togwotee Pass in WY... Should be a pleasant drive through the mountains... With plenty of snow. Lol
