Well that was my decision as well last trip. Ohio to tracy ca. Didnt wanna deal with wyoming and 80 or donner. Cut down to 40 to tucumcari . 200 miles longer but it avoids all the snow... well u guys all saw what happened when we reached gallup nm... yeah.... Thats what i get for thinking for myself

    Dog food off!!
621 miles and made it at 13:15, well above their 1509 cut off!!!!
Then they drug their feet for overtime, 1600, and I’ve less than an hour left.
But I’m parked at a small fuel stop.

Evening News just showed a 60 vehicle pile up on I-80 in Pa. Lots of Trucks involved. I think they said eastbound side. Didn’t say where. It didn’t look good.

Our previous cats thought it was really neat when we had 11 feet of snow banked on the side of the house. They walked along the outside of the house and looked in at my eye level. Sorry the cats moved away in the picture. Yet the snow was at 11 feet high one winter here in Maine. It was so bad that I was dreading another snow fall as I had now where to push anymore snow.

The snow was half way up the upper window
