What if it Snows?

Union City had one saving grace. Used to load ductile pipe out of there. Did it so much, that after loading, I would go shower in the crew room. Then head down the street to a little bistro and have dinner. The owner knew me well. Unfortunately the place has closed. Food was great. Best sandwiches. The pastrami was tender and shaved so thin, then loaded on. Just melted on your tongue.

 

#### man now I want a pastrami the place we used to go here in town was just like that. But they didn't make through the stupid shutdown

I was going to say better drainage and higher elevation than Dixon Landing, so it did not flood as much every year was it's saving grace.

I'm still waiting on the street at my 10 pm pickup, watching my clock roll down.

"We'll come get ya in a few minutes", about an hour ago.

Might have to make a sammich. That usually brings them out.

Or lie down for a nap......no sooner I hit the pillow than "knock knock".

But if this whole situation goes south, I'm gonna need the sleep.

Sammich still sounds like a good idea, though.

Like I’ve been starting at 2-3 AM, now I don’t have to start til 630, reload is 1.5 hour from me and they won’t start til 0800.
But I’m not sleepy.

I’ve had my share of it up here in Northern Michigan. Time to head to Florida.
