Well this one is pretty funny looking back from this century....

 

I've been on a night schedule all this week.

I can usually hit Nick's on the way in if I have a late afternoon drop.

 

Had a sammich, still no sign of the loader.

Another tanker went in there, from this big line parked on the street.

Ruh ro.

I'm taking a nap......

 

Just watched Colony with bill paxton and Laurence fishburne.
I was not impressed.

 

Some people get upset when we make fun of Swift, so here's a few picking on someone else..

Opus was in West Chicago......much colder than that......shipper was a dick too....

"dude, I've absolutely gotta be gone by 6, (This is at 2:30)....."
"No problem."
At 4:00 they put me to a door
At 5:00 the light turns red.
At 5:45 dude calls.......
"Hey man, it's gonna be a couple more hours, we're running behind."
"No problem."
So, I pull out, (this is one of those places that makes you unhook and pull forward a bit) and go around the block and park for the night.
At 8:00 dude calls.
"Alright, we gotcha ready. Come inside for your paperwork."
"Dude, I told you I had to be gone by 6. I'm already gone."
"I'm gonna have your trailer towed......bla bla bla........"
"Suit yourself, bro. It's not my trailer........"

So, the next morning I go and get my paperwork and trailer. I tell the new crew what happened the day before......
"Oh yeah, that's Mike. He's a real ########."
Indeed

 

well, mostly because I drive a truck and they had stuff to put on my truck and pay me money.
But also because I hadn't been kicked it the balls in some time and I forgot what it felt like.
I remember now.
