I havent been this excited for Christmas in years... I camt wait to see the looks on my childrens faces when they open presents.

Kinda funny how. "What makes Christmas enjoyable" changes as one ages.

I know what you mean. We are in Arizona spending Christmas with my step-daughters and the grandkids. These kids are a joy to be around and their enthusiasm for Christmas is rubbing off.

I envy people that can enjoy Christmas. I can't. I live alone and have no children (I think)! My dad died 23 years ago tomorrow. Both my grandmothers died in late December. I have several aunts and uncles both that have died on or around Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year because of Covid I imagine I will replace the case, Motherboard, and add a 2nd harddrive to my Dell 3540 Laptop. Then do some other things I have put off. Oh, I will play some Mannheim Steamroller and might watch some old movies. I can't risk being around others this year. I do wish all of you a merry Christmas and hope all of you are with loved ones!

Was supposed to be home tonight.
Seems like the customer service folks at Schneider misunderstood the pick up delay requirements.
Instead of "oh, about an hour and a half" what they should have heard, "oh, roughly 4 hours."

So, rather than fight the morons going through Atlanta right now, only to arrive in Macon out of hours and STILL not go home, I have elected to stay near my pickup and hit it early tomorrow.

    Merry Christmas, guys.
Despite the weirdness of 2020, WIIS was a pretty good place to hang out and get one's mind right.
    Best wishes

My Father died Christmas Eve 1998. It was the last of bad events for the year.
