In both instances the equipment was still working but not "leaking" enough electricity to trip a breaker, just enough to zap you.

And it was Icey, then freezing tain and 2.5 hours of snow in Rolla, made it South of St. Louis about an hour, near Ozora and the truck shutdown, all lights went out so I muscled this thing to the edge of road by my memory, and got it restarted about 40, was going 70, and then parked at the Ozora truck stop, like 6 trucks here and usually packed.
Then i got my paper work out to see that the mechanic “rewired” the PNDC instead of replace like I told him too.
Could’ve been worse, I sat 4 hours unloading and still have 7.5 I could’ve drove, reload place is 24/7, could’ve got reloaded and made it home..
But now I’m afraid to drive it dark in case that pos Freightliner pndc box decides to reset and kill power to truck again, sucks in daylight, awful in dark.
Oh well, safety first, I’ll stay here til the sun comes up 0630ish.

With a dead short though I thought it would blow the breaker or I would pick it up in OHMs between the legs of power or them to metal on the truck. When I get a chance I'll have to get out the good OHM meter and check again(the one that reads resistance through your body).

I wonder if it would trip a GFCI, a dead short certainly should.

This is why I posted this here, I've gotten alot of information and a good amount accidental help, meaning the post just helped me with a problem no one knew about yet.

I noticed the w900 Werner company truck, they used to have decent Classic XLs too..

I'm still mad they took away Elmer's gun on HBO/Max and. Same with ol Yosemite Sam...

Can't see two crazy rednecks use guns to kill a 'wabbit" but I can watch the Simpsons, on Disney no less, and get all the violence from that stupid cat an mouse show of theirs. Or Family Guy...where the baby is trying to take out mom in the first 3 seasons, or several other stupid shows with obscene amounts of violence compared to...the Loony Toons. What's next, Tom & Jerry debate things and hug it out instead of chasing and trying to eat the mouse?

No shotguns tho. No hunting either. Bah.

    Dear America,

Grow a pair, stopping being offended by everything and stop censoring ####!

I feel better now, thank you. :)

Time consuming. If I were going to build one for myself I would pour a a monolithic slab than a 2 foot tall stem wall all around the sides.

Getting the base plate anchored and sealed takes some time to do it right. If it was on a stem wall it would solve the water puddle/seepage problem being the water flows right down the valleys in the roof and our heavy rains in SW Florida creates a lake quickly .

If you built it up on a stemwall you could have a gutter to catch all the runoff and also you gain usable space up by the walls

I tried to encourage my buddy to build it that way.

You have to have a man lift to work off and it is a 2 man job being you need to seal and position each panel.

Site work ,Concrete and good garage doors are good portion of coin also

If I was in a cold climate I would build a wood and vinyl siding pole barn so you don’t have to insulate it.
