It’s just weird, by pulling the coolant down in the reservoir while at idle, but not blowing it out the overflow...but either driving it, or loosing the cap on reservoir tank, which releases pressure, and antifreeze goes back to normal, no coolant in oil at least, or out the stack.
After it’s turned off and pressure releases or you loosen cap, coolant in reservoir tank goes back to normal.
it’s not like pressure, more like suction pulling it down vs blowing out as normal, I’ve read to much about Cummins coolant issues over the last few days, everything looks red.
Did I mention I hate being a mechanic, I always end up bleeding.JolliRoger, Dale thompson, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -

Ah I see what your saying...
Then what did you do?
That was another splendid session, make an appointment and come back again next week.
I realized by about age 22, the only good therapy was to find a freind that was willing to listen.
Tho the best therapy is telling the rest of you what to do with my useless info. LOL!!austinmike, Cattleman84, LoSt_AgAiN and 9 others Thank this.
