Car yes..... but trucks don't typically have synhcros IIRC.

If a big truck, may be a bearing going out or the clutch not working correct. Pilot bearing bushing or clutch brake fail?

Automotive side, gear changes become more stiff and a little grinding if worn. If they fail/Explode you are limping to the shop and hope the pieces don't get sucked up and jam the gears.

    I had a persist scammer.

Dude called 6 times back to back.
I told him I didn’t have time for his bs,
He was talking crazy about needing your name ss# address and shoe size or some junk to get your stimulus money.
I’d decline call and he called back 4 more times before I could block the number.

Beware, they’re becoming persistent and are just here to “help”. :biggrin_25523::biggrin_255:

Well, they raised minimum wage here, went into effect on the 1st, a lot of restaurants were just trying to get back going, now they’re going to have to raise prices in order to make that happen.

Grinding when selecting from low to high range or high to low usually starts.

Yeah I think I would be out of work if I took Rod out to a parking lot to practice burn outs on his minivan. My post from before wasnt of aprehension. It was more of the excitement I will enjoy. Grin

The trans on a truck has splined shafts. Those splined shafts will last a lifetime when drivers dont "jam the gears". If the driver remembers to double clutch, that trans will treat that driver like it was new. The fact that you are stating that the gears no longer easily mesh says what kind of driver the truck has.
