Talk about pushing your hours to the extreme.
I started at 0430, drove the 15 miles to my 0530 destination, empty at 0730.
Dh 230 miles for their “great customer”
Died out here.
Got 510 loaded miles to go, and not loaded yet.
The receiver closes in 45 minutes.
But they’ve sent me a reload that loads 100 miles from there delivers at 0900 in the morning.
Edit: that delivery is 275 miles away
You guys need to stop sharing that peyote with brokers/agents/ load schedulers.
Edit: that load is another 275 miles away.
What if it Snows?

Shop update:
My sedintary life style is fine if I am sitting. Yet I am trying to get my mobility back. So I spend about a hour each day doing stuff in the garage. This includes making the shop area easier to heat in the back of the garage. (pardon ailing memory if I told you this already). There is a shelf that must be moved to erect a short wall of 4'3". Alas it is a shelf I bought from Ames Department store from so long ago for $20. Alas we can no longer have $20 shelving. Now the same thing costs $125. WTH! So I am making wooden ones out of 2x4 for the legs and shelf cross supports. With 36" long one inch by 8 boarding. The old shelf was only 30" wide. Materials alone was only $60. So today I now have two wooden ladders that will become shelf ends. Tomorrow I need to cut the shelfes and some plywood so the stuff on the shelves doesnt fall off the backside. A pic will show up when its done.
Yet I am done for tthe day. That hour was a little easier than 5 days ago. Yet I am worn out! Be safe allhomeskillet, stuckinthemud, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
