What if it Snows?

I am back in OH-HI-OH.

Fueled in Conneaut, then kept going because I wanted to get a steak and cheese sub from the Kwik Fill in Geneva.

I scan the menu.
The steak and cheese has been discontinued.

I go with the meatball sub. I check the case for their "fresh, homemade baked goods". (They usually have these AWESOME brownies!)

Cupboard's bare. I'm disappointed.

I come face to face with the Hostess display. Instead of walking by I grab the Suzie-Qs, which were at eye level.

I go back to the truck to eat lunch.

The meatball sub is sub-par.
The Qs are stale.
The coffee is marginal.

But I DID get my 2021 stick on dash calendar, so there's that......

 

The TA’s have discontinued the stick on dash calendar?

 

Jalapeño cheese dogs for the win.

Just plain in the bun.

 

Be grateful for the small things; and wait, patiently... Good things will come.

 

There's an unauthorized kitty roaming about, and this has The OM in a twist.

Got other load off ran like a ... Hmm.. An owner of a brand new 990, exiting the truck stop when he sees a swift tryin’ to park next to his truck.

Here’s what the guard said.
“Yo, Driver.
Youse spose’d to be ere’ yestadays.”

“Huh?”

Guard
“You be late, bro.”
Me
“No. Please no, last time I heard about someone being late, I be paying child support fo life.” (Ok it is a lie, but he didn’t know and I figured I’d play along.)

Guard
“I feels ya bro, I’m paying on 6.”
Me
“I thought 3 was bad, well, guess I’ll just go back home and get into trouble.”
Guard
“Nah bro, they’s gunna load you.
I garrontee.”
Me
“Man, I dunno why I trys, they just gunna take the change from me anyways.”

I went from 20ish to 3rd place.
I am not ashamed...

 

Mother nature is showing her teeth in south dakota. My tarp is taking a beating but were hanging on. We havent even hit the worst of it yet. Onward we must go.
