About to get rolling, woke up 20 minutes before my alarm. Looks like that powder that fell last night went through fast.

 

Probably worried someone green like me will hit his hood at the truck stop.

Parked at the PFJ in Sioux City, IA. Ran through some light white stuff and ice. Actually hit a patch going down and around an inclined curve. Or at least it felt like it. Had the brakes on to keep from going over the speed limit. Saw the trailer start to slide out to the driver's side. So let off the brakes and she slid right back where she belonged.

So fueling up the reefer, scaling empty, and getting a trailer wash out before my drop and hook at Seaboard foods.

After my tirade against ####-tards that can’t use a dimmer I had a moment of zen this morning.

it’s the little things...

Freshly washed bedding and a parking spot that is quiet and just a little chilly.

That’s a slice of heaven to this trucker.
