Wasn't the national speed limit 55 then and horse power like 350?

Yep, series 60, 11.1 liter 365 hp in a set back axle International. Alias “The Bus” governed at 62, RPMs governed at 1800. 7 mpg never shut it off.

That is no longer a phrase I trust in 2021, because it's the 2000s first legal drinking year. We've seen how she started, and I'm not trusting anyone anymore.

I have a mid roof. When I did tankers I used to get mid 7s with 77k. Super singles. Now I pull dry box I get mid to high 6s. Or 5.5 when it's 5'F out. I don't have a wing on top. Now people with new volvo condos claim they get low to mid 8s north of 75k pulling reefer. Step deck is all over the place, for me I assume it's aerodynamics. I think hoods look great, but you lose fuel money wise, granted if your at 62mph it won't matter there. If your doing OD it doesn't matter either. Rgn , step deck again it doesn't matter.

It's a beautiful truck either way.

Well I'm sitting at a target DC, told me atleast 4 hours. I don't want to find parking at 11pm. But it's nice out.

Running 60 I got 8.5+ no matter my weight hauling reefer. Unfortunately I'm in the JIT freight game now, and I average about 5.5 at 72mph. I do think my long base, small sleeper setup is hurting me (over 6' between rear wings and trailer), but I doubt it's hurting to the tune of 3mpg.

I wonder how much better I would do with a top fairing, instead of being a mid roof. Plus get rid of the vault so I could shorten the air gap between truck and trailer. My truck has aero package over fuel tanks.

Do you have a condo or a mid roof?

My fastest at a Target DC is 7 hours. Demand detention.

    Target loads are last resorts.

You need a condo or roof fairing for van.

    Had to..
Well didn’t have too, but pulled out a “professional” who spun out and couldn’t get traction.
My thanks, was I got to get my chain out and replace it into my rotella oil jug.

maybe because I was driving a pickup, and wasn't in professional mode.
