The partition frame work is up. I hadnt posted about it as I havent taken a picture of it. It was mid 40's yesterday, and it will be that warm again tomorrow. Alas today its only 15F. Tomorrow afternoon I will try to post a interior pic of the framing in the garage. The sheathing isnt on yet.

I don't watch the news, anyway, but it strikes me that I haven't heard anything about the "botched federal response" to Winter Storms Uri and Vanessa.

I also notice I don't hear anything about the governors of TN, AR, TX,WY, etc., whining to the Feds to bail them out.

One thing I did see was the Texas Secretary of Agriculture telling Fox News, "We're Texas. We'll handle it. We always do."

I could easily live in a place where even "bureaucrats" talk like that.....

(I wrote that word in quotes because he doesn't look like a bureaucrat. He looks like an Ag Secretary who knows about Ag from ACTUAL EXPERIENCE.)

Texas electrical grid is Independent of the Countries. It wasn’t winterized at all. No demand sharing like other States. It’s Management is under scrutiny right now. Plenty of blame to go around. One apartment dweller supposedly once got a bill for $900. Due to prices being unregulated. It’s interesting, even though I don’t live in Texas.

You can.buy a fixed rate plan. That has rate blocks or just do the market. Plus pay as you go like a debit card. It's a little goofy. I lived there for about three years total
