What if it Snows?

Well.

I went into jerk mode at the shop where the KW is.
They said Monday, that Friday they were going to have it into start.
I went up there at 330, they were fixing to leave early, my truck still sitting where I parked it in December.

I asked if they’d touched it, they said no, what’s wrong with it again?
Then they went off about the snow and ice last week and nothing on the yard would start.
I asked if they tried the KW, was told no, but nothing else would start, so why would it.
I got my key out of pocket, walked to it, and it turned over 3 times and fired up.

I told them if they didn’t want to work on it, I’d take all my business elsewhere and tell everyone I knew, but most owners already know I’ve had mine up here for over 2 months now.
They said Monday, when they pull the truck out that’s in bay 2, which is finished, they just didn’t pull it out of the shop..
Somebody might could’ve used a truck this weekend.

Used to be a good shop.
If they don’t get it by this week, I’ll go find a good shop, shouldn’t have to beg someone to take your money.

 

My bet is they were just running plates to make sure your IFTA papers showed current. And were not flagged as an easy target for inspection violations.

 

Took 7 hours to load.

What are you going to have done on it?

 

Crankcase filter changed, it gets a lot of air pressure in the coolant tank, pulls coolant down, instead of blowing it out the overflow, I think it’s the air compressor, but I didn’t have time to mess with it, although, I think I could’ve did a little with it over the last 2 months.
I’ll do the crankcase filter, and water filter because most never change those two on a Cummins.

 

I went through Mississippi scales EB on I-10 last night. They had a full lot. At least 15 Trucks, a Motorhome, for some reason. 3-4 Agents walking around. I don’t know what was going on. Even had a Military looking Dune Buggy painted sand color. It was strange. Never saw so much commotion.
