Maybe. I could get a low interest rate from my credit union. Pay a little extra on the low pymt. In no time it would’ve paid off. I can put the cash to much better use.
What if it Snows?

I just got went to instant Jerk mode.
The place I loaded yesterday, didn’t load us where they sent to, but you gotta check in, wait for 5 other trucks to ARRIVE, which was 1.5 hours wasted.
Then drive 10 miles to load, then 10 miles back.
Then you sit and wait for the other 5 to LOAD.
Then they bring the sample with them and check it.
Then they seal it and give you paperwork.
Well.
That in itself is off.
Don’t seal food grade material at once?
Drive to other location, that’s 20 miles, should pay pickup location.
I didn’t go crazy on none of this.
waited 1.5 hours for the other trucks to get loaded so I could leave and drive 350 miles for my 0700 appointment.
Still needed an hour so guess who low gear creeps to scales to find out my as she puts it, “Your Appointment isn’t until 1430, go park.”
I may have went a little, crazy and told her what I thought, and called and got the broker out of bed and told him to straighten his mess out, or he’ll pay me $50/ pickup pay, detention while waiting for their bs load deal, and you gotta do the “2 hour free” deal so I’d get paid from 0900 til whenever I get out of here since my rate con has the time on it as 0700, or I’ll be bringing this load of white rice back.
One of the trucks I had to wait an hour to arrive is here now, unloading in the 0700 spot I drove late for nothing for.
It won’t happen again, they’ll just reschedule, Seems this happens here a lot.
This part pushed me over the edge..dwells40, lovesthedrive, LoSt_AgAiN and 2 others Thank this. -

Throwback Saturday!!
Remember Lee Miller?
the WW2 war correspondent who bathed in Hitlers bathtub on the day he committed suicide, and after her trip to Dachau and Buchenwald?
They don’t teach anything anymore.
I got to wondering, so I looked it up, just so you wouldn’t have too.
