For the curious, this place is near Area 51. LOTS of alien gear available to the touristing public.

 

I’ll be nice and let you write another for around 16-18K, for repairs, I’m not on home time but whenever they day the KW is done that’s what I figure.

The shop wanted to take the egr off, block it, and put an N14 turbo in, said it’d run “Great!! Tons of POWER!!!!”

Me, “Dude, those days are gone, it won’t do much more than the computer lets it, if anything, we’ll turn up the fuel rail pressure, but I say leave it alone, when I break the engine in, it’ll be done right, 55 for a week, then 60 the next, then 65 the week after.
I’m not to worried about speed anymore, the Freightliner is still at 80, it’s been there once down hill, in While in “N” or Ecoast, whichever you call it, still like Georgia overdrive to me.

I just hate moving my stuff, though I’ve got several radios, might just put one in it and leave it there.
