My dad, stepmom and brother all had it. Still some lingering lung effects months later, but alive. We've learned a lot about this thing, but we're not out of the woods just yet.

I'm kind of surprised that they put anyone on a ventilator at this point. Heavy antibiotics and steroids are the treatment of choice. Must have been a bad case. Best of luck to you and your family.

I don't think it helped that they layed down and let it brew either, they'd been on their backs for a week when we found out. Antibiotics would probably have done the trick at the start.:(

Wasnt anything to it for me. Typical high fever, then a cold that wouldnt quit for 4 weeks. Yup wwalking any distance is still interesting and running out of breath. Got a little better after the shots. At least the morning sniffles are finally gone.

Is that why they locked the front office door when I walked up?
I haven’t been seen there in over a year, they knew I come to collect monies due, and wanted a check and when you see a guy park in the spot surfboard water half knee deep and still get out and walk through it, he’s on a mission of...good vs evil?

If you're planning to spend the night at the TA in Seymour Indiana, bring food. Everything except the shop and fuel are closed because of a fire.
Good news is that it's after 1900 and the lot is only half full

One of those convenient insurance fires like The J's have when a remodel is needed?

Was thinking the exact same thing.
Reason #33 why I don't need to darken TA's door.
    I'm kinda chapped.
But I have Progresso, so I won't starve.
