    After 7 hours at that one unload place in Flowery Branch... I drive across Atlanta all the way around to FairBurn.
    No product.
    Notta, None.
    One truck ahead waiting for the same thing.

    The carnage and HUGE MANATEE in and around the Dallas / Ft. Worth area is REAL. The hard tain all day is REAL.

    One are rodent cars allowed in our country?

    The OM has many thoughts on this matter, but since we both only had a bowl of cereal and an apple all day, and were on the very cusp of starvation, she's eaten her half a can like a tiger and is currently in full groom.

    Ya ever go to one of those places where you look around for a while.....people going in, people going out, and wonder to yourself, just WITF?
    I remember a place like that just outside of Charleston WV......got up in the morning to get coffee and people were rolling in with the same dirty stuff they had on the night before.
    Now I'm in Smithville TN. And I'm watching and I'm going just WITf people?
    But they're very nice.

    The OM has awarded me a fuel island lasagne for outstanding performance in the face of unyielding stupidity, and unending HUGE MANATEE.

    This is REALLY good because no one in the history of OTR trucking has ever been so hungry.

    @otterinthewater I seem to remember you saying you dont navigate by road numbers... But by Food Stands. Well I think I've found the GPS for you...

    Today, while driving through a residential area in the greater Chicago area, my Garmin DEZL 580 GPS says "In 2 miles turn left, after the KFC." I #### you not, it gave me verbal directions that referenced a fast food joint!!!!!! I guess it wouldnt surprise me on a GPS for passenger vehicles, but on a unit specifically designed for large CMVs???

    I was so taken by surprise that I almost drove right past road I needed to turn on... Im really not sure how to feel about this whole turn of events.
